USB Method

Perhaps the most fool-proof way to upload photos to your Frame TV is to use a USB thumb drive to copy the files from your computer to The Frame.

  1. Purchase artwork files from our Shop and download the image files to your computer.

  2. Copy the files from your computer to the USB drive.

    • Open the folder where your artwork files are stored.

    • Connect the USB drive to your computer.

    • Select the artwork files you want to copy.

    • Right-click on the selected files, choose “Copy” from the context menu.

    • Navigate to the USB drive folder in your computer’s file explorer.

    • Right-click in the USB drive folder and choose “Paste” to copy the files onto the USB drive.

    • Safely eject the USB drive from your computer once the files have finished copying.

  3. Copy the files from the USB drive to The Frame.

    • Turn on The Frame TV using the power button on the One Remote.

    • Switch to Art Mode.

    • Press Down on the directional pad until you see “My Collection” and select it.

    • Navigate to and select the USB device.

    • All images on the USB drive will be displayed. To view an image, highlight it and press Select.

    • Highlight and select the images you want to save to your Frame.

    • Press Up and select “Save Selected”.

SmartThings App Method

Alternatively, you can transfer files from your smartphone using the SmartThings app.

  1. Purchase artwork files from our Shop and import the image files to the photo gallery app on your smartphone.

  2. Ensure your Frame TV and smartphone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

  3. Install and open the SmartThings app on your smartphone. Select your Samsung The Frame TV. Then, enter “Art Mode”.

  4. Choose “Add Your Photos +” on the Art Mode interface.

  5. Browse and pick your desired artwork from your chosen album.

  6. After selecting, hit “Save on The Frame” located at the screen’s bottom.

  7. Adjust the Mat settings as you prefer, including opting for “No Mat”. Your selected image will now be displayed in Art Mode on your TV.
